Fun activation in which Heineken really triggers people to find out the world behind a QR-code. Visitors of a Polish summer festival were able to get personal statements encoded and turned into QR stickers. Other festival guests could then scan the codes and strike up a conversation based on the statements. Look here for the case study.

Coca Cola – Encourage Meter

Euro 2012 is still a half year away, but this remarkable concept in Argentina is one to remember. Coca Cola boosted their Copa America sponsorship with this giant screen that responds to sound waves. Fans could watch the next game of the Argentinean football team. As long as there was plenty of cheering, the images were visible.

Shell - Wake-Up

The yearly transit from summer to winter time gives many Dutchmen the blues. To bring a bit of light into these dark days BrandBase developed the Shell Wake-Up campaign. Early birds who showed up at a gas station in their pyjamas between 6 and 7 AM and refuelled their car received a Philips Wake-Up Light for free. The event was the kick-off for a collaboration between two major Dutch companies: Shell costumers who fill up their cars with 25 litres gas or more get a 50% discount on Philips products.

Starbucks - Interactive Storefront

To promote the launch of the new My Starbucks Rewards program Starbucks unveiled this nice piece of digital eye candy. Four of the highest traffic windows in Toronto and Vancouver transformed into interactive storefronts. The installations provide a touch experience around the Starbucks stars, revealing the deals and rewards that the new program will offer.

Contrex – Contrexperience

French water brand Contrex launched a miniral water with high calcium content. This supposedly speeds up the metabolism, thus burning calories and helping those who drink it lose weight. To emphasize this claim Contrex developed this funny interactive 3D-projection starring a neon male stripper.

It's created and developed by BrandBase. A huge amount of free publicity in Dutch and international media resulted in a publicity climax: for this great innovation Heineken got nominated for a Nobel Prize!

Coca-Cola – Face Look

In this campaign Coca-Cola Israel mixes two social worlds that kids love: Facebook and summer events. The company hosted a range of summer activities where teenagers were able to activate Facebook posts just by looking at Coca-Cola’s FaceLook machine. The facial recognition technique identifies the user and posts an automatic comment which relates to the activity. A innovative way to share summer fun with friends!

Mountain Dew – Street Art Project

With this energetic viral Mountain Dew kicks off its Street Art Project. After liking the UK Facebook page fans are challenged to create a piece of street art in the digital dimension.
