Marktplaats – Queen’s Day Kit

The idea behind Marktplaats, the number one online market place in Holland, fits perfectly with the feeling of Queen's Day, a typical Dutch anniversary on which people throughout the country like to sniff around and score some great bargains on flea markets. In the weeks before Queen's Day BrandBase developed an online activation program: for ten days 1.000 people could order a free Queen’s Day Kit on an action site. The kit contained convenient price tag stickers and a nice personalized rug. The Queen’ was developed in collaboration with BrandPremiums, a subsidiary of BrandBase.

The hypothetical demo video on YouTube got 10 million views in its first week and there was a huge buzz on Twitter.
